IIntense pulsed light (IPL), or pulsed glare, is a broad-spectrum light that is focused and filtered by a very intense source of light, essentially an incoherent ordinary light rather than a laser. The wavelength of IPL is usually 500 to 1200 nm. IPL is one of the most widely used phototherapy techniques in clinical practice, and it plays an important role in the field of skin beauty.
